This is an antique brass spoon from the Joseon Dynasty, Korea. (The Joseon Dynasty was a Korean dynasty that lasted from 1392 to 1897.)
In Korea, it is called Sukkara. The spoon is shallow and flat with a long handle, making it a very convenient shape for mixing dishes such as bibimbap.
Furthermore, because each piece is hand-stretched and one-of-a-kind, it has the unique flavor of a handcrafted item.
In addition to Korean dishes such as bibimbap, soondubu, and naengmyeon, the brass gold color goes well with any dish.
It can also be used as a server for serving large dishes when dining at a party or other large gathering.
